This stylish hatchback features styling touches inside and outside.

Skoda has not yet stated whether it would give the Scala the Laurin & Klement luxury treatment. We are highly skeptical. So, the new Monte Carlo trim will be the one with all the bells & whistles. The five-door compact hatchback will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this month. It follows the Fabia Monte Carlo, and Rapid Monte Carlo in that it features a variety of visual revisions.

The exterior is a Scala with black accents on the full-LED headlights, and parts of the newly designed front apron. Similar story at the back, where the “SKODA” lettering has been finished in black. The optional 17-inch or 18-inch alloy wheels are only available for this model. The side mirror caps are completely black, as you might guess.

The Scala Monte Carlo is the flagship trim. It comes with all the standard features. The Scala Monte Carlo comes with everything, from a panoramic sunroof and full-LED taillights to the black roof spoiler and tinted side windows. Additionally, the extended glass on its tailgate denotes that it is the most expensive hatchback.

The height-adjustable seats with built in headrests and model-reserved upholstery are exclusive to the Czech Volkswagen Golf Monte Carlo guise. Skoda spent a lot of time creating new trims and graphics for its instrument cluster. They also combined red accents with black headliner. Scala-branded door sills and special floor mats were added to the range’s crown jewel. Also, the chrome treatment for the air vents and LED ambient lighting in red was used for the center console, door pockets, handles and footwells.

The Skoda Scala Monte Carlo, which was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show’s premiere, will be available in Europe during the fourth quarter 2019.

Skoda’s most upscale trim level derives its name from the Principality of Monaco. The famous Monte Carlo Rally was held in 1911 and is the longest-running WRC event. This is where VW Group has had some success over the years. The Popular Sport finished second in its category back in 1936, while the 130 RS was first and second in the class in 1977. Skoda also stated that the Fabia supermini rally car spec was “extremely successful” at this event.
