2021-2022 Ford F-150 Raptor Denied BlueCruise Tech

They will just need to drive more.

F150 Raptorowners: It looks like your truck of dreams will not be able to take advantage of one of Ford’s most innovative innovations over the past decade. Your Raptor will be able to go off-road, and can even make small jumps. However, it will not have Ford’s BlueCruise driver support package. Ford’s F-150 Raptor’s unique software prevents Ford from adding BlueCruise.

Ford had always planned for 2021-2022 Ford F-150 Raptors with BlueCruise, allowing customers to choose this feature when they order their trucks. BlueCruise was available for 2021 F-150 Raptors. Owners were permitted to add the BlueCruise package to their truck to make the software more readily available. Unfortunately, that day has not come yet as BlueCruise has been unable to be released for 2022 F-150 Raptors due to a software issue.

Ford knows the frustration customers feel and has developed a plan for customers to get BlueCruise on F-150 Raptors. Ford will reimburse 2021 Raptor owners for the full cost of the BlueCruise preparation kit. Customers who purchased the BlueCruise option with their truck orders in 2022 will be reimbursed by Ford. Ford will also provide 2022 Raptor owners with updated Monroneys in order to prevent future confusion. This is to ensure that the F-150 Raptor’s options packages are correctly displayed.

Ford is doing everything possible to fix this problem, but Raptor owners will have to drive their trucks more often for the time being. The current F-150 Raptor, which is the best truck to drive, is an easy sell. The driver-focused F-150 Raptor is a joy to drive on and off the road. BlueCruise is a big deal.
