2021 Audi Q5 Sportback Prices Starting at $47,800. SQ5 Costs $56,100

This model is a decent upgrade to the standard model.

Audi has added a new coupe to its lineup: the 2021Q5 Sportback. The Sportback follows the lead of competitors such as the Mercedes GLC coupe and BMW X4. It is a sleeker, more refined version of its cross-over sibling, the Q5. Audi claims that the Sportback will go on sale in late 2012 at a price of $47,800, before destination.

This is expectedly more expensive than the standard Q5, which starts from $43,300. You get extra features like 19-inch wheels and a panoramic roof for $4,500 more with the Sportback. The Sportback comes with the standard S-line exterior look package. This includes more aggressive front and back fascias, and metallic accents. Prices go up only for the Premium trim.

The Q5 Sportback Premium Plus is priced at $51,000 and the highest-end Prestige model at $56,500. Each model comes with a mild-hybrid turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 making 261 horsepower (195 Kilowatts), and 273 poundfeet (372 Newton-meters).

Audi offers the SQ5 Sportback with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 349 horsepower and 369 lb-ft (369 hp, 369 lb-ft) (260kW, 500 Nm). The SQ5 Sportback starts at $56,100 The plug-in hybrid engine will not be available on the SQ5 Sportback, unlike the Q5.

The US does not currently have an RS Q5 from Audi, so we aren’t expecting any new models. The Q5 and SQ5 Sportback are sure to be a hit additions to the Audi range, considering America’s desire for crossover coupes. The Sportback will be a huge hit, even though its starting price is nearly $5,000 more.
