It is a stark contrast to the Caddy crest.
Although the 2021 Cadillac Escalade has been completely redesigned, there are some differences. For example, the Cadillac Crest is larger than life in grilles and other places around the full-size luxury SUV. Cadillac Society recently pointed out that there are some differences to the iconic badge. This is if you have a new Escalade and the Onyx Package.
Cadillac has not yet released pictures of the new monochromatic grey badges. They will lose their shine with a flatter finish. Buyers who prefer the classic style will have plenty of options for bling-heavy trim and package options.
This is a minor change to an otherwise revolutionary Escalade. The Escalade rides on the same platform that the Chevrolet Suburban or GMC Tahoe. Its boxy exterior conceals a new independent rear suspension. This is claimed to provide a better ride and more space for passengers and cargo. The Escalade is also loaded with tech, including Cadillac’s Super Cruise semiautonomous driving suite and 38-inch digital displays in its dash. There’s also an optional sound system with 36 speakers. For the first time ever, Escalade buyers will be able to choose diesel power over a loud V8.
The 2021 Escalade will be available in dealerships by the end of this year.
