Chevy doesn’t give up on Camaro… yet.

The Chevrolet Camaro is in trouble. The nameplate’s next-generation muscle car is still unclear at the moment and reports about its death are still out. Its survival is not being helped by its poor sales numbers. The latest was Q2 2020, when the Camaro’s sales dropped by nearly 50 percent compared to last year.

Chevy hasn’t abandoned its muscle car yet. We will be seeing changes to the Camaro’s looks in the near future. We reported on the Wild Cherry Design package in May.

A photo of the alleged special edition was released by the GM Authority. You can see the image at the top. It was claimed to have been obtained only by the publication. The Wild Cherry Design package also includes cabin enhancements. However, the initial image only shows the exterior design.

According to our previous report, Wild Cherry Design has two versions. PDL is the first version. It comes with 20-inch polished wheels, five-spoke, black-colored wheels, Camaro logos on the wheel caps, Camaro floor mats and Camaro badges on the fender badges.

The order code PDN is for the second, as shown in the above image. The PDN version includes the PDL version as well as a black fuel filler with carbon insert, Carbon Flash metallic ground effects and a central stripe of black, silver and metallic. To complete the cabin enhancements, a black suede kneepad is also added.

All Camaro trims will have the Wild Cherry Design package, except the ZL1 and base 1LT models.
