These photos reveal some new details.
The Ford Bronco has been spotted all over the internet. Two new photos offer a more detailed view of the off-roader than the leaked photos earlier in the week. They show the Bronco as well as the smaller Bronco Sport. The photos in the attached gallery were first posted on the Bronco6G forums last night. They were watermarked by The Raptor Connection.
This is the Bronco four-door in black, riding on more aggressive tires than the one previously photographed. Although it looks a little like the Land Rover Defender, the long hood gives it a totally different look when you look at the front.
Two interesting things can be seen under the hood. The first is a slight bulge in the hood that might indicate a large engine. According to reports, the off-roader will be equipped with a 2.7 liter turbo V6 engine and a 10-speed manual gearbox.
A second pair of handles appears to be attached to hood. The Bronco photos that showed them earlier suggested that they were mounted on the fenders. There are many theories as to what they could be used for, but we believe one: the handles could be retro-inspired turn signal.
These new photos give us an excellent view of the size of the side mirrors. The three-quarter view shows the driver’s side mirror from very close range. The back of the car has a prototype topless two-door.
Ford had previously said that it does not comment on speculations or future products, but we can be sure this is the real deal. We are actually viewing a pre-production model of the new Bronco. What do you think? Please leave your feedback in the comment section below.
