2021 Ford Bronco Sport Interior Completely Revealed in New Spy Shots

This is our best yet look at the cockpit of the Jeep Renegade rival.

The interior of the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport was fully exposed, revealing a design that is completely different to the Escape which shares its platform.

Today’s interior inspection revealed that the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport will be an off-road-oriented crossover similar to the Jeep Renegade Trailhawk. The Bronco Sport is based on the same platform as the current Escape, but thankfully, it features wholly different interior and exterior styling from Ford’s inoffensive-but-bland small crossover.

The interior of the Bronco Sports is a step up from the Escape’s square-jawed exterior. The digital gauge cluster, which is possible an option, hides in a hooded binnacle similar to that of the F150 pickup. The Bronco Sport’s Bronco Sport’s cabin has color-keyed trim pieces which add a touch of life to the surroundings. This particular model, which is a middle trim, has orange accents around its door handles and infotainment screen. The durable cloth seat upholstery is also shown in our photos as an outdoor-chic brown and black colorway. A push-button start button and a rotary transmit selector allow you to control the powertrain. It is likely to be a 1.5 liter inline-3 or 2.0 liter inline-4 , both mated with an eight-speed auto gearbox. A panel of buttons controls traction aids, just aft the gearshift. Ford Bronco Sport will probably extend the Escape’s selection of drive modes, adding trail and mud settings to the crossover’s on-road-oriented Eco, Sport and Slippery functions.

The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport has been delayed while the automaker addresses the coronavirus outbreak. Although an official reveal of the new Bronco is still months away, these spy photos of the interior of the SUV give us a better idea what to expect when it arrives.
