Ford claims it will unveil the new Bronco in spring.
The 2021 Ford Bronco is one of the most anticipated models to be unveiled this year. The Bronco was confirmed by Ford at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show. Numerous spy photos have since shown the Bronco’s early stages of development. New spy photos today show a Bronco much further along in its development. Although there is a lot of camouflage to hide the true design of the SUV, the boxy shape remains unmistakably Bronco-like.
Although the square shape is easy to see, there’s a lot of padding underneath that can ruin much of its design. It may conceal the long-rumored removable roof panels. The Bronco’s upright design is obscured by the padding at the rear and front. It’s hard to tell if the Bronco headlight photo was leaked at last month matches. However, they look similar.
The Bronco’s boxy design will appeal to off-road enthusiasts. It has short front and rear overhangs. Ford has been insistent since the Bronco’s announcement that the new vehicle would be an off-road vehicle that can keep up with the Jeep Wrangler , Toyota 4Runner, and other vehicles. Spy photos show a spare tire mounted on a swinggate that is between what appears to be production-ready taillights and plenty of ground clearance.
This is the four-door Bronco. A two-door version will also be available, just like the Wrangler.
