2021 Ford F-150 Display Screens Look Amazing In New Video

The F-150’s luxurious interior is packed full of tech.

You’ll be impressed by the interior of the 2021 Ford F-150. The interior layout will be familiar to owners of F-150s made in the past few years, much like the exterior. It’s a totally new interior, packed with tech, and even two new digital displays. This is the subject of the new video by Ford. We must admit that the screens look quite cool.

The video is focused on the digital instrument cluster, which provides a lot of information to the driver. The clip begins with simple gauge behavior and shows how fully digital instruments look in operation. Unfortunately, the F-150 can’t reach 120 mph in just four seconds, as shown on the video. But you get the idea.

We are shown a preview of our menu screen. It shows fuel economy, trip meters and Eco behavior, which basically tells how much time you spend speeding-up and slowing-down. The F-150 avatar is also displayed, in case you forgot which vehicle you are driving. Although it’s a little gimmicky, the splash screens that show the F-150’s different drive modes are quite useful. Mud and Trail shows an F-150 driving on a muddy track, while sand and Snow shows it cutting through desert terrain. It doesn’t mean that we don’t enjoy it. Sometimes, gimmicky can even be good. The screens are certainly attractive, it’s not difficult to see.

The towing and offroad status screen is a particularly useful feature. The screen clearly shows vehicle roll angles and steering input, as well as vehicle incline. This could prove to be very useful for contractors or companies who often send trucks on difficult terrain with trailers, as well as casual off-roaders looking for adventure on unknown trails.
