The majority of the equipment was part of an earlier $1,000 option package.
According to Ford Authority, the 2021 Ford Mustang has a slightly different list of options and features than the 2020 model. There are also more standard safety features.
Ford’s Co-Pilot 360 safety technology suite is now available to the 2021 Mustang. This suite includes blind-spot monitoring and automatic high beams. It also has pre-collision assistance with automatic emergency brake, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, dynamic brake support, rain-sensing wipers, and pre-collision help with automatic emergencybraking.
The 2020 Mustang comes with an optional $1,000 Safe & Smart package, which includes pre-collision assistance with automatic emergency brake, automatic high beams and adaptive cruise control.
A simplified lineup is also available for the 2021 Mustang. The Performance Level 2 will be discontinued. It is being replaced by the Mach 1. For the Mustang GT Fastback, an option of $6,500 was available. This equipment consisted of 19-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres, Brembo six-piston front brake discs, a front splitter, K brace, MagneRide dampers and MagneRide radiators.
The new mach 1 has a 5.0-liter V8 that produces 480 horsepower (358 Kilowatts) as well as 420 pound-feet (569 Newton meters) of torque, just like the Bullitt. You can choose between a rev-matching 6-speed manual or 10-speed auto. The GT350 heat exchangers are used, while the GT500’s rear-axle coolers were used. Prices start from $51,720 (plus $1,195 destination fees). This is approximately $4,000 more than the GT350 but $9,000 less.
Ford has discontinued the Shelby GT350R and GT350R from the Mustang lineup. In terms of performance, the new Mach 1 is below it. The supercharged GT500 boasts 760 horsepower (567kilowatts) and a lot more power.
