After the November 18 big reveal in L.A., the zero-emissions SUV bearing the name of America’s iconic pony car was posted on the dedicated reservation website. Early adopters were able to pre-order this ‘Stang that the world has never seen. It is possible to still pre-order the $61,000 First Edition, but it has been sold out in nine days. Blue Oval’s section on the Mach-E has the First Edition. However, it mentions that this edition is “sold out.” Ford doesn’t say how many units it intends to produce. The press release only mentions a “limited number” of FEs. The First Edition is now unavailable due to enough 500 reservations. These refundable deposits are a good thing. There is a possibility that some people will reconsider their mind and make the First Edition again. The fancy four-door Mustang on stilts has been sold. It is different from all other Mach-E regular trim levels. It is an extended-range AWD model that comes with red brake calipers, First Edition badgeging and metallic pedal covers. The interior has contrast seat stitching and metallic pedal covers. To remind you that this isn’t any Mach-E, a scuffplate with the “First Edition” lettering rounds out the modifications. Ford will produce approximately 50,000 Mustang Mach-E units during the electric SUV’s first production year. It will therefore prioritize customers who order the First Edition. The first vehicles will arrive in late 2020. They will include the $51,700 Premium model, which includes the base $44,995 MachE Select and the ultra-efficient $53,500 MachE California Route 1 (due early 2021), and the $61,600 MachE GT later that year.
