Teasers show a sleek sedan with minimalist interior.
The new Hyundai Elantra will be available soon. This is because we have seen prototypes in testing for some time and our latest sighting showed that the car looked production-ready underneath its covers. Now Hyundai has made it clear that the new Elantra will be available. It will be available for viewing on March 17th.
Hyundai released a few teaser photos to mark the T-minus-one week occasion. They show what it calls a four-door coupe with dramatic body lines. Although the four-door appears to have a coupe-like roof design, we think more people will prefer calling it a sedan.
The teaser photos and the video give us a limited view of the grille. It looks striking and very angular, with sharp body creases at the doors. This video shows a glimpse at the grille. It is large and very in line with Hyundai’s current design language.
The interior’s single teaser photo reveals a minimalistic atmosphere. The large touchscreen at the center seems to seamlessly blend into what should be a digital display on the driver’s side. The buttons are not discernible on the door panel or on the center console. There are only a few toggle buttons on the steering wheel. This is a teaser image, so expect something different when reveal day comes around.
The 2021 Elantra will be available on March 17, as previously mentioned. A press conference and livestream will be held at The Lot Studios, West Hollywood at 7:00 PM PDT (1:00 PM EDT). Hyundai states that the new Elantra production models will be available for purchase starting in September.
