The Limited’s new range-topper is even better than the Limited.
The 2021 Hyundai Palisade Caligraphy will officially be arriving in the United States in July. This confirms a rumor that was first reported last week. This variant will be the top-of-the-line model, and it will sit above the Limited grade. Although the automaker didn’t announce the price, a leak from a dealer guide suggested that it would start at $48,890 plus a $1140 destination fee.
Palisade Calligraphy is exclusively equipped with the 3.8-liter V6. It has 291 horsepower (216kilowatts) as well as 262 pound-feet (355newton-meters). It is equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel driv
The Calligraphy is slightly different from other Palisades. A revised grille mesh design has triangular elements. Puddle lamps are now available on the side mirrors. The back features accent lighting and a high-mounted, ultra-wide LED brake light. It rides on 20-inch trim-exclusive wheels with a complex, asymmetrical spoke pattern.
The Calligraphy interior features all the same features as the Limited trim. It has a 12.3-inch digital display for the instrument and a 10.25 inch infotainment screen that includes navigation. The Calligraphy comes with seven passengers and two captain’s chairs in second row. This trim level includes a perforated leather steering column, quilted door panels and a microfiber-suede headliner.
Hyundai South Korea offers a Palisade version that is one step higher than the Calligraphy. The VIP model gives second-row passengers extra comfort by providing them with an entertainment display. Headrests are equipped with speakers and come standard on the chairs. The cupholders can be heated or cooled. Hyundai has not yet introduced this package to the US. It makes sense, since the Palisade could be as luxurious as products from the Genesis corporation.
