2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Renewable Based on Teaser Shows Unusual Front End

It’s unlike anything else.

The Hyundai Santa Fe was first revealed a little more than two years ago. It is about to receive a major update. AtchaCars have already used the teaser photo published earlier in week. They attempted to find out what Hyundai was hiding behind that dark photo, giving us our first glimpse at its new midsize SUV.

The current Santa Fe’s front is polarizing, but the new version will have a unique design featuring T-shaped LED daytime running lamps. The current model has dual-layer headlights. However, the facelifted model will have horizontal clusters instead of the vertically arranged clusters. Hyundai also showed a teaser photo of a flatter and wider front grille featuring the latest corporate Cascading pattern.

Comparisons side-by-side show how the front design will change. They also show how the 2021 Santa Fe will compare to its sister model the Kia Sorento. AtchaCars made the SUV available in several colors. However, Hyundai doesn’t have all the options. The interesting design stands out even more because of the bright orange color and the vivid purple hue.

There will be major changes to the back, taking into account that Santa Fe will switch to a new platform. Major changes are also planned for the interior cabin, which will be equipped with more technology than ever. Hyundai already confirmed that hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains will be available under the hood.

In the next few weeks, an official unveiling should occur. South Korea will likely get the new Santa Fe first. The SUV will be on sale in Europe by September. We expect the U.S. to arrive before the end of this year.
