This interpretation may be accurate based on spy photos we have seen.
The hood is a round, organic shape and meets a large grille that has been seen in spy photos. The grille is flanked by narrow headlights. At the rear, renderings show more straight edges and geometric taillights that are connected by a long, thin lens. The number plate has Tucson branding, which is large and prominent.
This is how the next generation Tucson will look. Close-up spy photos do show that the grille, lights and lower vents are correct. These renderings are heavily inspired by Hyundai Vision T concept. However, spy shots again suggest that most of these body lines will be present on the production model. Spy shots also reveal the taillights. However, the full-width lens is still unknown and Tuscon branding remains a mystery.
The company’s Theta3 2.5-liter four pot for the U.S. market will be used in the next Tucson. It has an eight-speed automatic sending power and standard-issue front wheel drive. Although all-wheel drive will be possible, details about the mechanical equipment are being kept secret. We expect Hyundai to unveil the new Tucson in 2021, but that could change very soon.
