2021 Kia Sedona renderings preview An Elegant Minivan

Square is trendy.

The arrival of a new Kia Sedona model is imminent. Kia is also known as the Carnival. However, Kia would prefer that the people-mover be classified as a “Grand Utility Vehicle.” We now have renderings of the model in production.

These renderings are from AtchaCars YouTube and are based upon the teaser sketch recently released by Kia. These renderings are often exaggerated in design elements such as wheels. However, they give an artistic preview of the vehicle’s real-world appearance.

The minivan is shown from several angles. It has a square shape with Kia’s prominent tiger grille at the front. It is flanked by narrow, Seltos-inspired headlights. You can even see a raised roof on the renderings, which is often seen on conversion vans.

Although the design isn’t significantly different from the current Sedona model, it should be an entirely new vehicle beneath its new skin. According to sources, the platform will be the third-generation layout of the Hyundai Sonata as well as the Kia Optima. There will also be room for a hybrid system that might come later. We believe that Kia will drop the 3.3-liter V6 and replace it with a turbocharged 2.5 liter four-cylinder at launch.

The new Sedona may also be slightly larger than the original, although the renderings and teaser sketches don’t show that. Although it would be a minor change, a slightly longer wheelbase should allow for more space inside. When you are talking about a family vehicle with seven passengers, more space is always a good thing.

The 2020 New York Auto Show was where the Sedona would debut, according to reports. The event was cancelled and the minivan has been largely absent from the market since. However, the teaser that was recently drawn reveals the new design. Although we don’t yet have any official information from Kia about when the new Sedona will be available, the teaser reveals the new design and suggests that it may arrive sooner than expected.
