2021 Kia Seltos Leaked Ahead Of U.S. The Debut in Big Way, Literally

This prominent advertisement is located atop Los Angeles Convention Center.

We have a failure to communicate, folks. We suspect that this is the source of some of the current chatter at Kia’s U.S. headquarters. Yesterday, the automaker released a teaser image that showed an obscured SUV and a release date of November 20.

Imagine our shock when we saw this massive advertisement “Introducing the tough and ready 2021 Hyundai Seltos”? And where did it appear? It’s right outside the Los Angeles Convention Center where auto journalists from all over the globe are gathering for the 2019 LA Auto Show. It’s safe for us to assume that this is Kia’s latest mystery reveal, even though it was a day before. Guess what? The advertising team didn’t get the memo that it was best to keep the DL open until the 20th.

This isn’t the worst leakage situation.KiaActuallyThe Seltos were revealed several months ago
The compact SUV was confirmed in India but not for the U.S. Technically, the larger-than-life advertisement does not confirm that the Seltos will be coming to America. But it is a good sign.

Literally
The sign was placed on the side of LA Convention Center. We don’t know much about the alleged U.S.-spec Seltos, but we will be able to reveal more information at its official unveiling.

It was launched in the UK with four-cylinder turbocharged turbocharged 1.6-liter engines that can burn gasoline or diesel and a naturally aspirated 2.0 liter engine. It should also be able to hold a Kia Niro-sized spot in the automaker’s lineup. However, its squared styling reminds us of the Kia Soul. The advertisement appears to have minor styling differences compared to the Seltos photo gallery. Minor changes to the international model are possible, aesthetically and mechanically, given the highly competitive compact crossover segment in America.

Within 24 hours of this posting, we will know for certain. We suspect that some advertising people in Kia’s fold need some explaining.
