2021 Lincoln Nautilus Teaser Announces Reveal date

However, don’t expect to see a complete redesign.

The Lincoln Nautilus was previously known as the MKX. It was revealed in 2016, and renamed in 2019, along with a mid-cycle facelift. Many have complained that it is getting old, particularly in the cabin, where many of the critics were directed.

Lincoln doesn’t sleep on this though. To refresh the Nautilus’ design, a Monochromatic package has been added to it a few months back. If that wasn’t enough, the Ford Edge-based crossover will be getting another refresh in the 2021 model year.

A teaser taken from the company’s twitter account (below), suggests that a new 2021 Nautilus will soon be available. It will be unveiled on November 20, 2020. Although the teaser says little, it only contains the phrase “…now inhale. as well as the previously mentioned reveal date.

We don’t anticipate any major changes to the exterior of the Nautilus, but we are hoping for huge updates inside the cabin. Lincoln stated that there will be more photos, possibly days before launch. We will keep an eye on that.

Many of the Nautilus’ criticisms are centered in the cabin. This is mainly due to the materials used for the center console. We noted in our Nautilus First Drive Review that the “center console” is particularly offensive because it’s surrounded with cheap silver and bargain-bin black plastic trim. This is something that we did not expect from a luxury crossover with a $62,600 tag.

Lincoln will hopefully address the issue with the forthcoming Nautilus. This is the brand’s most-sold vehicle in 2019, with 31,711 units. That’s an 11-percent increase over the number of the previous year.
