The current-generation Nissan Murano is doing well. The crossover received a minor facelift for the 2019 model-year. However, its last major redesign was in 2014. Its bones date back to 2007. It’s still a popular model in Nissan’s lineup, and the automaker plans to increase its sales for 2021 by adding new colors, standard safety features and a Special Edition Package.

Before we go into the details, let’s talk about the price. Nissan increases the Murano’s base MSRP to $32,510, an increase of $980 over last year. This will get you an entry-level Murano S. However, 2021 will bring you more equipment. Specifically, the Nissan Safety Shield 360 with rear-automatic braking comes standard on all models except the front-wheel drive S. Buyers will get more tech for their extra money.

Below is a breakdown of the starting prices for all 2021 Murano trims, excluding a $1,095 destination and handling fee.

Murano is a package that offers more swag. The Special Edition Package is simply the name of it, and it’s more than just a bunch black trim. It replaces 2020’s SV Premium Package and features a dual-panel moonroof and Prima-Tex synthetic leather seats with heated front seats, a 360-degree camera, and 20-inch wheels in charcoal-colored. There’s also a tiny bit of Black in the package.

The exterior of the Murano has a bit more black. For 2021, three new colors will be available: Scarlet Ember Tintcoat, Magnetic Black Pearl and Boulder Gray Pearl. It is nice to know that not all Murano colors are the darker ones. The above gallery shows how it can be very sizzling in person.
