However, production has been delayed.
The 2021 Ram 1500 Rebel TX is likely to be the most anticipated truck of this year. The Ford Raptor rival was to be unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show. However, since the autoshow has been cancelled to make way for coronavirus pandemic efforts the future of the ugly Ram 1500 has been uncertain – up until today.
A report by Mopar Insiders The 1500 Rebel TRX, which is expected to be unveiled at the FCA Chelsea Proving Grounds by June 30, is scheduled to headline FCA’s What’s New event.
Mopar Insiders leaked the information. As always, be careful and take it with a grain of salt. It is possible to believe that this is what will happen in June, given the timeline and the normal nature of the event.
A fifth week delay in the production of the 1500 Rebel TRX has been revealed. This means that the September 8 deadline has been moved to October 12th, when the first Hellcat-powered 1500 will be made.
According to earlier reports, the 1500 Rebel TRX will be powered a Hellcat V8, which is the same engine that powers the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. It produces 707 horsepower (527kilowatts). This engine is believed to be mated with a ZF eight speed automatic transmission.
Leaked reports suggest that the 1500 Rebel TRX will feature adjustable steering and suspension via a drive mode selector. Ram is expected to do everything possible to make this truck a contender against the Ford Raptor. We just need to wait to see if these bits of information make it into the final model.
