Although it may appear unassuming, there is actually quite a bit of camo.
In 2016, Skoda’s SUV assault was led by the Kodiaq, which was introduced in 2016. The Kodiaq is now joined by the smaller Karoq and the even smaller Kamiq. There are two models that China has made available: the Kodiaq GT (or Kamiq GT) and the Kamiq GT (or both). These sleeker versions have coupe-inspired rooflines. Mlada Boleslav’s new SUV range includes the fully electric Enyaq. A EnyaqGT will be available soon.
It’s time to update the Skoda original SUV ( Yeti is a quirky hatchback, while the 1960s Trekka was designed as an agricultural vehicle). Our spy team discovered a prototype disguised in camouflage that contained the cosmetic changes for the 2021 Kodiaq. To trick us into thinking the clusters aren’t changing, stickers were placed on the taillights and headlights.
The facelifted Kodiaq will get matrix LED technology, with a new look clusters and the same two-tier headlights that are used on all other Skoda SUVs. Although the fake stickers obscure our view, it appears that the taillights have an entirely different LED signature. While the car was being tested had the Kodiaq Sportline front bumper and alloy wheels, it did not have the fake exhaust tips.
Skoda also hides the sides of its front grille using thick plastic pieces. There’s also some body-colored camouflage on their bumper. The headlight washer cap has changed in shape. This is something that 99.99 percent of Kodiaq owners don’t care about.
The Enyaq RS has been revealed and the Kodiaq RS will now be the only Skoda SUV with the Rally Sport badge. The twin-turbodiesel engine will continue to be used in the facelift, although some believe it will go to TSI power. However, nothing is confirmed at this time. The Kodiaq RS is still the fastest seven seat SUV at the Nurburgring. However, this is only because luxury brands haven’t attempted to record their high-powered luxobarges at Green Hell.
Skoda will likely unveil the new Fabia supermini and Enyaq GT later in the year.
