You can also get an all-wheel drive system.
Bold looks, hybrid power
The Toyota Sienna 2021 looks bold. And not just for a small van. Calty Design, the same company that designed the stunning FT-1 concept , was responsible for styling the new Sienna atop a versatile TNGA–K platform. This is the same platform as the Camry and Highlander. It also supports the RAV4 and the new Venza. The Sienna’s most distinctive visual features include its large front grille, which is found on most Toyota products, sharply angled headlights and aggressive rear fender details that resemble the Highlander SUV. There are five distinct trim options for the new Sienna: Limited, LE, XLE and XSE. The XSE, however, is the most sporty of all the trims. The Sienna XSE features black accents, a black mesh grille and, for the first-ever time, 20-inch wheels.
The standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine powers the new Sienna, along with two electric motors (or three with all-wheel drive). The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid does not require you to plug in the Toyota. This setup is similar to the RAV4 Hybrid’s sibling crossovers, but it has 243 horsepower (181kilowatts) combined and can return up to 33 MPG. The right specification can tow up to 3,500 lbs (1,588 kg) There are four driving modes for the Sienna: EV (electric vehicle), Normal, Eco, Eco, and Sports. Toyota claims that Sport mode unlocks additional power from the hybrid setup while Eco mode reduces battery power to increase efficiency. The Sienna comes with an all-wheel drive system, as well.
Technology, safety, and stylish seats
The new Sienna comes standard with a 9.0-inch touchscreen that supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa, as well as a cluster of 7.0-inch digital instruments with a “Hybrid System indicator”. The Hybrid System Indicator helps keep the driver informed about things such as battery regeneration status or eco-driving habits. Seven USB ports are located throughout the cabin so that everyone can plug in. Toyota Audio Plus is available on the XLE and LE models. It adds eight speakers to the base model, instead of six, as well as Wi-Fi connectivity. The Limited and Platinum models receive the standard, more advanced Toyota Premium Audio System. This adds 12 speakers and a dynamic navigation system. The Platinum model has a 10.0-inch head up display and 360-degree camera.
This Sienna is also safe. Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 is standard on every 2021 Sienna. It includes adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane departure alert, lane sign assist, lane departure alarm with steering assist, and automatic high beams. Standard on the Sienna LE base model are fabric seats with eight-way adjustability. Buyers who want better bolstering options can choose the XLE model. It comes with two-tone Softex faux leather with eight-way power adjustability for the driver’s side, and four-way power adjustment for the passenger’s. The Sienna XSE gets Softex faux leather as well, but it is mounted on sporty bucket seats, rather than the standard ones.
