Audi fans in America will soon be able to drive a sports car. It has been a long wait. The RS 3 will be available in dealerships by the end of summer. Its MSRP is just below $60,000.

The RS 3 models all have the same 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-five that produces 401 horsepower (299 kilowatts). This is a little more power than the RS 3 model across the pond. However, all four wheels are still powered by a seven speed dual-clutch gearbox. The sedan can reach 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds. If you love bright green, the no-charge color is available.

It’s also the only free color that Audi offers. Therefore, you will be less visible. Any other color in the Audi palette will cost $595. If none of these colors suit your needs, you have the option to choose something unique through Audi’s exclusive $3,900 paint color option. The RS Technology package is also available for $2,750. This package includes a heads-up display and navigation as well as an upgraded Bang & Olufsen Stereo and a 6-month Audi Connect subscription. The Dynamic Plus package costs $5,500 and adds ceramic front brakes, carbon engine covers, and an increase in speed limiter to 180 mph. Carbon Package adds more carbon fiber to the spoiler, side sill inlays and side mirrors. The total cost of the Miscellaneous Items, such as Audi Side Assist with Cross-Traffic Alert and a Sport Exhaust System, is $76,245.

Audi offers some packages with only the green exterior. These include the Black Optic Plus and RS Design packages green. However, a Kyalami Green RS 3 without any option is still more expensive than a vehicle with a custom-painted exterior. These items add up to $74,595.

Even if you don’t choose any options, you still get a fast sports sedan with nice equipment. Standard equipment includes 19-inch wheels and a sport-tuned suspension. The interior features a digital cockpit that includes a 12.3-inch driver screen and a 10.1 inch center screen. There are also numerous drive modes to maximize the power. A zero-option RS 3 can still reach 155 mph, which is a nice feat of bragging to friends at the pub.
