The Bronco is now priced at over 30 grand
Ford raised the Bronco’s price for the 2022 model-year, this time twice. Ford’s customer site reveals the new prices. It shows a significant gap to the previous increase of October 2021.
The Base trim of the Ford Bronco, which was introduced in 2020 for the 2021 model-year, was priced at $28,500 (two-door) and $33,200 for four-door. The price of the Ford Bronco was increased in 2021 to $29,300 for a two-door model and $33,450 for a four-door model.
The new price increases have resulted in the Base two-door model starting at $30,800, while the four-door model starts at $34,700. This is a difference of more than one grand.
The Wildtrak trim that was previously the most expensive now starts at $49,780, which is a $905 increase. The four-door trim, priced at $51,225 for the 2022 model years, is slightly less expensive than the $51,370 price in 2021.
Prices for the Bronco Everglades, and the Bronco Raptor are still $53,000 and $68,500 respectively. Prices do not include applicable destination charges, which are valued at $1,495.
Customers have expressed concern about the new pricing, especially those who are still waiting for orders. Customers who have already placed orders and received VINs are not likely to be affected by this new pricing. However, it is a good idea to check with the dealers. Ford also issued a bulletin regarding price protection. However, this only applies to vehicles ordered within a certain timeframe.
Ford announced that the 2022 ordering books will be closed due to high demand days before the recent Bronco price hike. Customers have only until March 7th to place orders. The ordering book for 2023 is expected to open in the latter part of this year.
