The dates of Goodwood’s next motorsport event have been announced.
Following the 78th Goodwood Member’s Meeting, which saw a roaring debut by the Gordon Murray T.50 at the meeting, the 2022 motorsport and automotive events dates were announced.
One of the most significant changes coming up for next year is the return of Goodwood Festival of Speed in May. The Festival was held in July for the last several years. The Festival will be held in 2022. Goodwood Festival of Speed It is expected to take place on June 23-26 2022. It is important to note that it was not held on these dates in 2016! Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event was cancelled in 2020.
Festival of Speed will be back as the place to go for innovation, technology and future mobility. There will be the usual favorites, such as Formula 1 and drift.
Goodwood also announced that events would revert back to their original order. This means that next year’s Goodwood Members’ Meeting will be held on April 9-10 2022. It will continue to be the playground of Members and Fellows at the Goodwood Road Racing Club, (GRRC). There will be racing, off-track celebrations and fireworks and, of course, the unique school ‘house rivalry.
The Goodwood Revival will take place on September 16-18th, 2022. It will host the greatest weekend of historic racing in the world, along with vintage fashion and glamour set within the legendary Goodwood Motor Circuit.
The events will be back in their original order. Popular aspects of the events will be available again, as well as new moments, celebrations, and car launches. Interactive customer experiences will also be offered.
