The Hyundai Elantra N was leaked earlier in the month. Later that day , the sedan’s official online debut. The powerful 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine will make it available in the United States. The Elantra N will be made public at the New York Auto Show, before the order books are open.

According to the South Korean manufacturer, the sports sedan will be displayed on August 19, at 12:45 Eastern Time. Although pricing and delivery information are still unknown, the public appearance of this model is scheduled for next month. This suggests that we won’t need to wait too long before it arrives at Hyundai dealerships in the United States.

The ElantraN has a turbocharged 2.0-liter turbocharged motor that produces 276 horsepower (206 Kilowatts) as well as 289 pound-feet (392 Newton meters) of torque. The standard transmission is a six-speed manual, but an optional eight-speed dual-clutch transmission is available. Hyundai claims that it takes only 5.3 seconds to sprint from a standstill up to 60 miles an hour (0-96 km per hour).

The automaker also offers an electronic limited-slip differential to the Elantra N to reduce the power required for the front wheels. The car comes with the Variable Exhaust Valve System, which produces angry exhaust sounds.
