In dealerships this year, the 2022 Hyundai Kona A N will arrive.
Hyundai doesn’t hesitate to offer a wide range of performance vehicles. One of the 18 performance vehicles that the company will offer globally is the 2022 KonaN. To earn the N badge, the compact crossover is given a complete overhaul. There are many changes to the styling and undercarriage. We get a closer look at the changes in this YouTube video by Asian Petrolhead.
Charlie Min drives the Kona N along public roads. He switches between the different drive modes and settings. The Kona N is well-suited for daily driving and can be used to drive in sportier settings. The model’s compact crossover shines on the track thanks to its stiffened suspension and powerful powertrain.
The track ends with Min showing the styling changes made inside the Kona model. To make it stand out, the N model gets several styling touches like the red accents. The engine is what makes Hyundai’s Veloster stand out. The Kona N’s turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine produces 276 horsepower (206kilowatts) as well as 289 pound-feet (392 Nms) of torque. This makes it one of Hyundai’s most powerful SUVs.
The 2022 Hyundai KonaN is expected to be in dealerships by the end of this year. It is not yet known what the price will be, but it is expected to start around $30,000, although it could go up to a little more. The Kona N appears to be a powerful performance machine at an affordable price.
