Infiniti updated its lineup with the new 2022 Infiniti. The coupe-like version of the HTML50 is the crossover, but the updated crossover draws its inspiration from Infiniti FX’s new exterior design. Although the brand has already described many of the features, the company just released pricing information. Luxe trim starting at $46,500 (prices do not include destination charge).
The Luxe trim includes a variety of standard features such as all-wheel driving, 20-inch wheels and LED headlights. There are also power-sliding tinted sunroofs, heated front seats, and wireless Apple CarPlay. Forward emergency brake with pedestrian detection, automatic back braking, lane departure alert, high beam assist, as well as other safety features are included on every trim. Upgrade to the Essential trim and get heated and cooled front seats and a heated steering column.
The Sensory trim, which adds open-poor hardwood accents, trizone automatic climate control, interior ambient light, and a motion activated liftgate, starts at $57,050. Read our first drive of the QX55, which is the top-of-the-line model. The variable-compression 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder Infiniti engine is available in all three trims. It generates 268 horsepower (200 Kilowatts) as well as 280 pound-feet (382 Newton-meterss) of torque. A continuously variable transmission routes one-hundred percent of the power to the front wheels. However, 50 percent can route power to the rear wheels if it is needed.
Two standard colors will be available on the 2022 QX55: Dynamic Sunstone Red or Slate Gray. Majestic White and Liquid Platinum are optional colors. The interior features a dual touchscreen system that includes an 8.0-inch infotainment screen and a 7.0 inch one for vehicle controls. The new Infiniti will be available in US showrooms beginning this spring.
