The front features cues taken from the QX60 Monograph.
These spy shots show the Infiniti QX60 driving on the roads. Because they are covering it in camouflage, engineers don’t want anyone to see the car.
It’s easy to see the design cues of the HTML60 Monograph from the front. The nose has narrow, pointed headlights at its upper corners. Only a small portion of the grille mesh can be seen, but it is enough to see the similarities to the concept. The lower fascia has jagged crossbars with a metallic finish. They are not black as shown on the Monograph.
The general silhouette of the concept is mirrored on the side. There is an important change: the door handles are now exposed and not flush to the QX60 Monograph.
We don’t know if the wraparound taillights are still there due to all of the camouflage. This covers any other elements, such as the metallic trim at the corners of the bumper.
We have already and a good view inside the new QX60. A large screen is located on the top of the central stack. The control panel is surrounded by narrow HVAC vents. The console contains the shift-by wire handle, several buttons, and a rotating knob.
It is not clear what the new QX60’s powertrain will be. The leading contenders are carrying over the current 3.5-liter V6 or using the variable-compression, 2.0-liter four-cylinder from the QX50 where it makes 268 horsepower (200 kilowatts). The turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 (224 kW) is another option, particularly for higher-grade trims.
In 2021, the production version of QX60 will be available. It will be available for purchase in the model year 2022.
