The new model starts at $69,900
The 2022 Jaguar F-Type can now only be purchased in the United States with supercharged V8 engine. There are no longer any four- or six-cylinder powerplants. Buyers can now choose between the P450, which has 444 horsepower (331 Kilowatts), or the R with 575 horsepower (429 kW).
From 2,500 rpm, the P450 produces 428 pound-feet (580 Newton meters) of torque. The standard equipment includes an electronically controlled active differential. In both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel drive configurations, the model can reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.4 seconds. The maximum speed is 177 mph (285 km/h).
Standard equipment on the P450 includes 20-inch wheels and brakes measuring 380 millimeters (14.96 in) in front and 376 mils (14.8 in) back. You can also choose a quiet start mode to keep the pipes from ringing in your morning, and the active exhaust keeps them muted. Six-way power electric seat.
There are a few extra touches on the P450 R-Dynamic AWD. The venturi, front splitter, sills, valence and side sills are finished in gloss black. It has heated side mirrors, power-folding, auto-dimming and power-folding. The wheels are 20 inches in diameter and have split-spoke design. The cabin features 12-way power seats, a power adjustable steering column and branded treadplates.
The F-Type R will not be modified in 2022. It can reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.5 seconds, and has an electronically limited top speed limit of 186 MPH (299 kph).
You can choose between a coupe or a convertible P450, and you have the option of RWD or RDYNAMIC AWD trims. Prices start at $69,000. There is a $1150 destination fee. The rear-drive coupe costs $69,900, while the all-wheel drive hardtop costs $79,900. The convertible price has not yet been released by Jag. The F-Type R costs $103,200.
