This is a fantastic look at the Grand Cherokee’s new nose.
The new Jeep Grand Cherokee will be available in two- or three-row interior configurations. Our spies believe this is the larger version judging by the proportions.
These spy photos match closely with Motor1.com renders the new Grand Cherokee. The grille is seven-slot with narrow headlights at each corner. These photos show the LED running light at the top of the lamps. The lower fascia has a large mesh-covered opening.
Although the styling is the same as the current model, the blocky side panels are even more chunky. The new model’s windows are larger which should increase visibility. The D-pillar also stands higher.
The taillights extend far to the sides of your body at the back. The taillights have white sections at the bottom and red stripes along the top.
According to reports, the new Grand Cherokee will make the switch to Giorgio platform which is underneath models such as the Alfa Romeo Stelvio. Rumours suggest that a turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder engine will be added to the lineup. Other options include a V6 equipped with FCA eTorque assistance tech, and a V8. Another option is a diesel 3.0-liter V6. A new version of the performance-focused Trackhawk might be on the horizon.
Expect a major upgrade in interior technology. Expect a digital instrument cluster and large infotainment screen at the very least.
The Grand Cherokee’s full debut should take place in the first half of 2021. It will be available for purchase in the model year 2022.
