2022 Kia Ceed Facelift: First Official Image, Debuts July 14,

Here are the GT Line versions and GT versions.

After the third-generation Ceed was introduced in 2013, Kia is now ready to update its compact car. The Korean brand released a low-resolution image of three variants of the VW Golf competitor ahead of tomorrow’s premiere. We’re looking at the ProCeed GT Swoopy Wagon, Ceed GT Line Hatch, and the Ceed traditional wagon with a plug in hybrid setup and GT Line specs.

These trims are finished in glossy black on the ends of the front bumper, giving the illusion that faux air vents extend to the sides. This look is not our favorite and we hope the lower trim levels will have a more attractive front bumper/air vent design. We are getting the impression that the front grille is now more modern and has a blocked design.

Kia also modified the headlights, as the four-point LED arrangement that was used in Porsche seems to have disappeared. The shape of the front lighting clusters is likely to be the same as before. Only the inner parts were changed for the Ceed mid-cycle facelift. The flagship GT’s bumper and sides are accented with red to indicate it’s a sporty model. All three cars receive the company’s updated logo.

This image does not include the crossover. It is likely that this is a sign that the XCeed will be available at a later time. This would be logical considering that the SUV-ified hatchback was only introduced two years ago. Tomorrow’s updated Ceed models will likely have slightly revised taillights, and possibly a slightly altered rear bumper. But that’s not much to write home about.

We have not seen any significant changes to the interior of the Ceed, as Kia has been updating it. The engines are the same. The cars already have the 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 160 horsepower and has been replaced by the 1.4-liter model.
