It will be here before 2021 ends.

Technically, this is the second time we have seen the next-generation Lexus LX. We saw some blurry photos of the LX blurry photos taken from a moving vehicle. These images were taken by our spy sources on terra firma.

This LX prototype looks very similar to the one that was seen previously. Although the license plate matches, detailed images allow us to see through the thicker sections of camouflage and clearly see the angled corner vents at the lower fascia. Crossbars can be seen from large grilles, but there may be additional camo behind the screen that creates a false impression. The headlights are identical to the ones in the Toyota Land Cruiser – New The Land Cruiser’s large shoulders and matching body lines are visible in the camo at the rear.

Toyota is credited with hiding the design of its new flagship under the heavy covers. However, we know that it’s the canceled-in America Land Cruiserwith Lexus branding. We believe that at least one model will be the LX 600. Lexus has filed a trademark for this name. According to our sources, this test vehicle is an LX 600.

The LX 570 has a 5.7-liter V8 to power it. If the new model is named in the same way, then a larger 6.0 liter V8 could be underneath the hood. 600 could refer to a six cylinder engine. This would be the twin-turbo, 3.5-liter unit from the Land Cruiser. It makes more sense to plug in a smaller engine and have broader electrification than putting in a larger V8. The Land Cruiser’s new V6 produces 409 horsepower (305kilowatts); there are rumors of an LX 750h hybridpushing that engine with electricity to produce 480hp (358kW) together.

When will the LX be officially launched? It’s not yet official, but we expect it to arrive in early next year. It is possible to make a debut in 2021.
