You can also choose from a variety of paint colors for the high-powered sedan.
Mercedes-Benz has made minor updates to the AMG GT 4 Door Coupe models powered by V8. Following the V6-powered model update last year, Mercedes-Benz has given the GT 43, 53, and 2022 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S minor design updates.
These changes are visible and familiar because they mirror those on the range’s strongest member, the GT 63 SE Performance PHEV. The 63 family looks as though they are made from the same mold.
Another styling update is the addition of color options. Customers who purchase the AMG GT 4-Door Coupe 63 or 63 S can choose from four matte colors, four metallic shades and two solid colors. This includes two new colors that were introduced last year with the V6: the Spectral Blue Magno and Spectral Blue Metallic.
The Editions models come in two special paint finishes: the Green Light Magno or the ManufakturRubellite Red Metallic. These special shades are available with 21-inch AMG forged wheels.
New colors and trims were also added inside, including the AMG Performance steering wheels.
AMG Ride Control+ suspension is standard on the AMG GT 63 or AMG GT 63S. It has continuously adjustable pressure relief valves which adjust the damping force of each wheel to match the situation. You can adjust it through the V8 models’ different drive modes.
A turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 still powers the AMG GT 4-Door Coupe, making 585 horsepower (430 kilowatts), and 590 poundfeet (800 Newton meters) for the GT 63. The GT 63 S, on the other hand, has 639 hp (670 kW) and 664 lb (900 Nm), respectively.
Order the updated AMG GT 63 S and GT 63 S now with pricing starting at EUR158,162.90, or approximately $173,400 depending on current exchange rates. They will be available in European showrooms from April 2022.
