Other perks are available for 2022 Supra purchasers, too.
Although it’s hard for us to believe that we are already halfway through 2021 model-year vehicles, Toyota is opening up the floodgates for new announcements. The new Toyota 86 is available for performance enthusiasts, but the biggest news will likely come from the 2022 Toyota Supra. This is especially true if your home is in North America.
You can almost guess what CF means if you look at the Supra A91-CF Edition. This is the official 2022 Toyota Supra-A91 Carbon Fiber Special Edition. We’ll stick with the CF moniker. It’s simple. Take a 2022 Supra 3.0, add carbon fiber to the front splitter and side rocker panels, and raise the spoiler a little higher with a carbon-fiber duckbill. The A91-CF Edition is complete when you add 19-inch matte black wheels and give the interior a red/black makeover.
Although it enhances the Supra’s appearance, Toyota claims that the add-ons can also be used for functional purposes. The CF-Edition’s duckbill wing and carbon fiber vents provide downforce and stability that can be used to control a race track. We found the Supra to be lively when pushing hard. So, a little aerodynamic assistance shouldn’t hurt. It’s something that only a limited group of buyers will be able to experience. Toyota plans to sell 600 CF-Edition cars in North America, but only 600 are being planned.
Toyota claims that all Supra 3.0 models come standard with heated seats, even if you don’t have the CF-Edition. Red will be an interior option for the 3.0. Supras with the premium audio system will also have full-screen Apple CarPlay. All Supra models, from the base 2.0 to the Premium, have a free one-year membership to the National Auto Sport Association (NASA). This allows you to practice your driving skills in an environment that is safe.
The 2022 Supra will be available at dealerships this fall. All models will have their prices announced closer to the date of on-sale.
