Take a look at the performance wagon in action.
Just launched the 2023 BMW M3 Touring. It was accompanied by a number of stunning photos. The professional photos aren’t able to show you how the high-performance wagon will look in real life. These photos show the model cruising down a street to give you an idea of how it looks in traffic.
The M3 touring looks like it is wearing BMW’s Isle of Man Green or a very close shade. It rides on black wheels, with a complicated spoke pattern and dark blue brake discs.
The M3 touring is only available in Competition spec. It is powered by a twin-turbo straight-six 3.0-liter engine with 503 horsepower (375kilowatts) & 479 pound-feet (649 nms). Only the wagon comes with both an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. You can choose to send all the power to your rear wheels.
The M3 Touring can travel at 62 miles an hour (100 km per hour) in just 3.6 seconds thanks to the powertrain. Although the top speed is limited at 155 mph (249 km/h), the optional M Driver’s Pack increases the maximum velocity up to 174 mph (389 kph).
The M3 Touring has a different interior layout to the sedan. The M3 Touring features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with a 14.9 inch infotainment system.
The M3 is 3.3 inches (8.38 cms) longer than a regular 3 Series Touring and 3 inches (7.62 cms) wider than a regular 3 Series Touring. The M3 is around 200 pounds (90.72 kg) heavier than the M3 sedan. This model has 53.3 cubic feet (1.509 liters), of rear cargo space.
Sorry wagon lovers. BMW will not bring the M3 Touring to North America and China. The reason the 3 Series wagon is not sold in the US is the reason that BMW doesn’t have it. It would be too costly to homologate the model for this niche market.
BMW Europe begins accepting orders for the BMW M3 Touring in September, with deliveries starting in December. Prices start at 97.800 euros (103.587 at the current exchange rate).
