Although Cadillac has not yet provided details about the powertrain, it is what we know. An spy video taken before the reveal captured a loud V8 exhaust note . Cadillac also released a video to announce the SUV’s full unveiling date. It features an interpretation by Maffio of the Escalade V’s engine note.

A familiar-looking Escalade was shown off in a visual reveal earlier this summer. It also featured a few distinctive styling cues. The SUV will have a unique front design, which includes a new grille as well as a lower bumper that features newly designed daytime running lights. Although the rear will not change, the SUV will feature a new lower vale that can accommodate four large exhaust tips. Cadillac also replaced the chrome trim with black.

The interior of the Escalade is identical to the model’s new-generation counterpart. Cadillac will however add V-specific touches to the Escalade, such as the badge on its steering wheel. Although we haven’t yet seen the interior, we anticipate Cadillac will add other V touches to the vehicle.

Cadillac will also reveal details about the availability of the SUV, which will be available sometime in the 2023 model year. We will soon find out when Cadillac plans on opening the order books. Although we doubt that Cadillac will release pricing information, we expect it to be quite affordable. The Escalade starts from $77,000 and the Platinum trim commands more.
