2023 Genesis G90 Long-Wheelbase Video Shows The Elegant Sedan Up Close

Maybach in South Korea is truly luxurious.

Are SUVs killing sedans? The luxury division of Hyundai must have lost the memo as Genesis continues to push the old three-box model. A long-wheelbase derivative has been created by the second-generation fullsize flagship. Official images were released towards the end 2021. CarSceneKorea has posted a new video that allows us to see the extended saloon up close. The Long Wheelbase version is 190 millimeters (7.5 in) longer than the standard G90. It rides on 20-inch wheels with shield-like designs and has a lot of chrome. You don’t have to manually close the rear doors like a plebeian and there is a button on your rear center console that does the job electrically.
Rolls-Royce The rear compartment of the Extra-Long model is a little too large. You can recline the front passenger seats and extend your legs thanks to the footrest at the back. This makes the right seat the most comfortable in the house. This feature is not unique to the Audi A8.

The G90 is the most expensive of the G90s. Genesis will only sell this car with all-wheel drive. A rear-wheel drive option will be available for the standard-wheelbase model. The engine is also different between them. Although both models have a turbocharged, 3.5-liter V6 it’s slightly more powerful in the longer sedan. The six-cylinder engine is equipped with an electric supercharger, 48V mild-hybrid technology, and 415 horsepower. The regular G90 can only manage 380 hp. Although the Long Wheelbase’s power output is not yet known, it was revealed after the local authorities certified the model. The naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter V8 has been retired, but the new V6 has five more horses. Genesis has not spoken out about the G90 being brought to Europe, where it will be sold alongside the Euro-only G70 Shoting Brake. The exact date of the BMW 7 Series competitor in America is unknown, but it may go on sale at the end this year as a 2023MY.
