The hybrid system is more advanced and will allow for a sportier driving experience.
In a series official photos from Honda, Honda officially previewed the 2023 CR-V. These photos give us a glimpse at the upcoming compact crossover. They were taken after Honda confirmed earlier in the month that the next CR-V Hybrid and CR-V are coming this year.
The countdown for the arrival of the 2023 Honda CR-V officially starts and we might soon get to see the model in all its details, as well as its technical specification sheet.
Let’s first discuss the images.
The new Honda CR-V is sharper at both ends and has more chrome accents than chrome. The new version’s headlights look narrower than the previous one, which is similar to the Prologue hybrid. The meshed grille has large slots while the lower corners have dark accents and vents. Honda also attached the side mirrors to their door panels.
These are the version published by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology before. The only difference is the silver garnishes on a lower bumper that can be found on the North American edition.
Honda’s rear taillight design is the same as the CRV’s, but the L-shaped lamps have a new graphic. Although the lower bumper’s silver accent might make you think it’s an exhaust outlet it is actually not.
Honda will unveil the new 2023 CR-V this year with a “more advanced hybrid system for a sportier riding experience and greater capability.” This year, the company will also introduce a new Honda Pilot. The automaker is calling it the “year of SUV”.
