The system takes in ambient air, adjusts the temperature to the dewpoint and turns the water vapor into a liquid. The water is then treated to remove microbes and viruses. This process produces up to five gallons per day of potable water. This conversion is powered by the roof-mounted solar panel.
Living Vehicle was founded with the goal of creating a trailer which could allow for completely off-grid living. This was already possible with the solar panels’ electricity production. The water-generating system allows for the provision of H20 from anywhere.
The trailer is equipped with 1,320 watts solar power. Buyers can choose from 3,300, 2,600 and 3,400-watt systems as upgrades. There are also a range of 14.4 to 57.6 Kilowatt-hours of battery capacity available.
Living Vehicle’s trailers are designed for people who work from their vehicles. Living Vehicle offers an office with a 32-inch or 27-inch Apple-sourced display that can connect to a 16 inch MacBook Pro. The display is located above a walnut 80-inch one- or two-person desk, which can be lowered to accommodate a queen-sized mattress.
You can get lots of amenities with the trailer. The trailer comes standard with a 13-cubic foot refrigerator. An optional ice maker can be added. Additional cooking options include a marine-grade stove or dishwasher.
Bathroom features include a 32-inch by 36-inch shower, which is quite large for a travel trailer. Buyers have the option to add extras such as a bidet or an outdoor shower.
Living Vehicle’s trailer prices start at $339.995, with the price increasing as customers add options. There is currently a 10-to-12-month lead time before delivery when someone places an order.
