2023 Mercedes EQE SUV Debuts, Teased by Mercedes
It is the EQS SUV’s little brother, according to the company’s chief designer.

Mercedes presented this week on how it plans to redirect more than 75% of its investments towards C-Class-sized cars and up, while simplifying its entry-level car lineup. While some models may be discontinued, there will still be plenty of vehicles with the three-pointed stars. The EQ family of fully-electric models is expanding, and an EQE SUV will be arriving later in the year.

While Gorden Wagener was discussing the EQ sub-brand, a teaser image showing the vehicle’s side profile appeared in the background. It was described by the Mercedes design boss as a smaller brother to the larger EQS SUV, which was unveiled just over a month ago. Gorden Wagener said it will look significantly different from the GLE. He also pointed out that it would be sportier and more aerodynamic than the GLE.

Since a prototype of the EQE SUV was seen in May, it has been completely uncamouflaged. It was likely that the EQE SUV was orange because it was later used for a crash test. These peekaboo spy photos show that it will be smaller than the EQS SUV. This is to be expected considering its smaller footprint. We don’t need to be able to predict the future of Mercedes’ next electric SUV after we’ve seen the EQCE sedan.

You can be sure that there will be a high performance version, with the Affalterbach boys and girls eager to AMG everything. A spicy prototype was actually captured on camera during testing. The technical specifications of the drivetrain should match those of the sedan.

Similar to the larger EQS SUV model, the upcoming electric car will be manufactured in the United States by Mercedes at their Tuscaloosa plant. The world premiere will take place within the next few months. Sales are likely to begin before 2022. Next year, the AMGs will be even more popular.
