Mini, a brand belonging to the BMW Group, has pledged to be purely electric by the 2030s. This will happen shortly after Rolls-Royce, another BMW Group brand, pulls the plug on its V12-powered engine. The British manufacturer will continue to sell vehicles with both type of propulsion between now and then. It shouldn’t surprise that our spy team has spotted prototypes without and with an exhaust tip.

The next-gen Mini models will go upmarket, and will lose leather from their interiors. A minivan inspired by the Urbanaut concept will be available in 2025.
