2023 Nissan Altima features a new front end and tech upgrades that will keep it fresh. The revised model will be available for sale in the fall. The model is available in S, SV and SR trims. Prices are not available.
The Altima redesign has a new design. It is no longer dominated by the chrome V-shaped nose element. Instead, it features a waterfall-like design that curves inward towards its bottom. In the middle is the new Nissan logo. The headlights have the same shape, but the lamps are in a different layout.
The exterior design of the vehicle doesn’t change. The 17-inch wheels of the SV trim get a new design. Redesigned 19-inch wheels are used by the SR, SL and SR VC–Turbo grades.
The gallery shows the updated look of the SR trim. This model comes standard with LED headlights and a black chrome grille.
Two new exterior colors are also being added by Nissan: Gray Sky Pearl Metallic and Garnett Pearl metallic. These colors join Scarlet Ember Tintcoat and Brilliant Silver Metallic, Gun Metallic and Gun Metallic.
There are minor interior changes to the new Altima. The Altima’s interior has undergone minor changes. A 12.3-inch infotainment screen replaces the 8.0-inch display on the SL and SR VC-Turbo grades. It is also an option on SV. It can also function as a WiFi hotspot and supports wireless Apple CarPlay. It also includes a wireless charging pad for your device.
The cabin has been updated with minor tweaks, including a new finish on the instrument panel. The SR grade now features dual-stitch interior fabric.
The Safety Shield 360 safety tech suite is now standard on all grades of the 2023 Altima. It features automatic emergency brake with pedestrian detection, rear automated braking, lane departure alert, radar-based blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, and high beam assistance.
The 2023 Altima will have the same engine options. The turbocharged 2.0-liter variable compression engine produces 248 horsepower (185 Kilowatts) as well as 273 pound-feet (371 Newton-meters), of torque. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder with naturally aspirated power output of 188 hp (170 kW) or 180 lb (243 Nm), respectively, is available for front-wheel-drive models. 182 hp (135 kW) and 178 lb (241 Nm) are available for all-wheel drive SV, SR and SL trims. The sedan has a CVT transmission regardless of the powerplant or drivetrain.
