This summer, the adventure SUV will be on sale
Nissan’s all-new Pathfinder was unveiled in February 2013. It features an actual automatic transmission that replaces the CVT. Motor1.com‘s senior editors were impressed with the new SUV and concluded that Nissan now has a three-row capable product in their lineup ( refer to the related links below ). Japanese manufacturer Nissan is expanding its Pathfinder range by adding an off-road-inspired model for the 2023 model year.
The Pathfinder Rock Creek is equipped with offroad upgrades. This includes an off-road-tuned suspension featuring a 5/8-inch lift, 18-inch beadlock-style wheels and all-terrain tires. The SUV comes standard with an intelligent around-view monitor that can be set to off-road mode.
The new front fascia, featuring a black V-motion grille with Rock Creek badge and a Rock Creek badge, will make it easy to distinguish from the standard Pathfinder. A tubular roof rack is available with a load capacity of up to 220 lb (100 kilograms).
You’ll find a combination of fabric and leatherette in the cabin, with Rock Creek embroidery at the headrests. The seats, steering wheel and instrument panels have contrast orange stitching, which corresponds with the orange Rock Creek badge.
This is not all. Standard equipment includes a tow hitch receiver, harness, LED fog lights and second-row captain’s chairs. Customers will have the option to select from six standard colors or four two-tone exterior combinations.
The 3.5-liter V6 engine’s fuel mapping has been revised to increase its output by 284 horsepower (209 Kilowatts) and 295 hp (217kW). While the torque rises from 259 pound-feet (351 Nm) to 270 Lb-feet (366 Nm). The power is sent to all four wheels by a nine-speed automatic transmission
The new 2023 Pathfinder Rock Creek will be on display at the 2022 New York International Auto Show. It is expected that the SUV will go on sale by late summer.
