The 2023 Ram ProMaster is a new model with a fresh look and updated tech. The third quarter of 2022 will see the first sales.
The ProMaster 2023 has a new look that may be visually polarizing for some viewers. The bumper’s plastic is now more angular than last year (see below comparison). There are also trapezoidal openings at the corners. The windshield and wiper blades can be accessed easily by the step. You can choose from a black grille or a chrome surround with black mesh background.
The ProMaster is equipped with brighter halogen lamps and longer illumination ranges. Fog lights are also available to customers.
Ram’s new roll-up doors are located at the back. They are designed for customers who need to unload and load cargo frequently. To reduce the weight, the panel is made of anodized aluminum.
Ram offers a super-high roof that provides 10 inches (25.4 cm) more headroom than the previous lower height. This configuration is available on the van’s 13.5-foot long version. This setup can also be fitted with a roll-up door.
Two new colors are now available for the 2023 ProMaster: Spitfire Orange and Ceramic Gray.
Users who prefer a darker appearance can now opt for the Black Appearance package. This gives the badges and grille a darkened look. Customers have the option of black wheels with either a machined or silver face.
The revised 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 produces 276 horsepower (339 kilowatts), and 250 poundfeet (339 Newton meters) of torque. This is 280 HP (224 kW) or 260 lb-364 Nm last year . The front wheels are still turned by a nine-speed auto.
The 2023 ProMaster now offers parallel and perpendicular parking assist to make driving more enjoyable. A high-resolution backup cam is part of the standard features. A digital rearview mirror can be added by buyers that can work in all driving modes.
Uconnect 5 software is now available for the interior of the van. The touchscreen can be displayed on either a 7-inch or 10 inch screen. An optional wireless charging pad is available for the cabin.
