Prices for models equipped with six-speed automatics go up by $550
The 2023 Subaru BRZ is the launch year for the second generation of this sports coupe. It starts at $29 615, plus a $1,020 destination charge. Only two trim levels are available: Limited and Premium.

The 2023 BRZ still uses a 2.4-liter flat four-cylinder engine that produces 228 horsepower (170 kilowatts), and 184 poundfeet (249 Newton-meters). To drive the rear wheels, buyers can choose between a six-speed manual and six-speed auto.
Subaru EyeSight safety technology is available for models with automatic transmissions. These features include adaptive cruise control and pre-collision brake, lane departure warning and sway warnings, lead vehicle starter alert, high beam assist, and lead vehicle start alarm.
Premium grade includes LED headlights for both high and low beams. The wheels are 17 inches in diameter and have a dark grey finish. These models come with a Torsen limited slip differential.
There is a 7.0-inch digital panel and an 8.0 inch infotainment screen. Standard is dual-zone climate control. All models feature black upholstery and red stitching. Leather covers the steering wheel and gearshift boot.
The Premium comes with the BRZ Limited. The Premium comes with 18-inch matte grey wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. There are also heated exterior power mirrors and two speakers to the stereo. Safety tech includes blind-spot detection and lane-keep assistance with rear cross traffic alert. The model also features steering responsive headlights. The automatic gearbox models have reverse automatic brake.
Ultrasuede upholstery is available in the Limited grade with red leather accents. The panel visor and door trim are covered in Brin Nuab faux Nubuck instruments. You can also get dual-mode heated front chairs.
Subaru and Toyota have the GR86/BRZ Cup series in Japan for these models. The competition machines are almost identical to the stock models, with the exception of an air-cooled oil cooler and cooling fins for rear differential cover. There is a 6-point roll cage inside, as well as a driver safety harness.
