2024 Ford Mustang Spy Video Finds Pony Car At High Altitude

The back has two exhaust pipes.

High-altitude testing is underway for the 2024 Ford Mustang. TFLNow happened to be in the right spot at the right moment to see one parked in a lot. Although the video is short, it gives a great overview of the next-gen pony car.

This Mustang has heavy camouflage using a combination camouflage and fabric panels. The front grille has a large opening, while the lower fascia appears to have three inlets. The nose is particularly long. The car rides on black 10-spoke wheels that have a V-shaped design.

TFLNow would be most interested to see the rear of this Mustang, in order to determine whether there are four or two exhaust pipes. This one has a pair, with one outlet on each side.

We’ve seen 1 Mustang with four exhaust pipes. The car was equipped with a Mach 1 engine. The vehicle also had more outlets than other development vehicles and a more aggressive wheel/tire package.

The headlights are narrow and have three lighting elements. The lower fascia is trapezoidal in shape with a large opening in the middle and smaller inlets at the sides.

The 2024 Mustang will be launched with either the 2.3-liter turbocharged four cylinder EcoBoost or the 5.0-liter Coyote Ve8 , which is the same engine as the current model. We don’t know if Ford plans to increase the output of the powerplants.

Rumours continue to circulate about the Mustang having a hybrid-assisted engine. According to some reports, the setup includes an electric motor that would turn a front axle. This layout would result in the first all-wheel drive Mustang.

The 2024 Mustang will be unveiled in April 2023. We know that there will be a coupe and a convertible . There will also be a GT3-class racing version .
