The Hurricane RS is a Bugatti Veyron-style car that accelerates like a Bugatti Veyron.

It was exactly a week ago that GPower released a BMW M8 with a lot of power. Now, the tuner is doing it again with the M5. The Hurricane RS is a name for the car and comes with an orange metallic body wrap that costs EUR3,800 (around $4,200). However, it does not include the carbon fiber hood which costs EUR5,236 / $5.750. It has a central bulge with vertical vents.

The super sedan Rides on 21-inch forged wheels with Michelin Tires available as a complete set for EUR9 545 ($10 500). The stock exhaust system is replaced by a titanium setup with quad 100mm tips bathed with carbon fiber. The custom exhaust can be tailored to your needs, just like the other upgrades. M5 Tuner steroids are not cheap. G-Power asks for EUR8,449 ($9,000.00).

The biggest transformation to the supercar’s four-door design is under the hood. Here, the twin-turbo V8 4.4-liter has been modified to produce an astonishing 829 horsepower and 1,050 Newton meters (774 pound-feet of torque). It will now take it just two and a quarter seconds to sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h), and then accelerate to 217 mph (335 km/h).

A custom pair of turbochargers cost EUR5,990 or $6,575 and the exhaust mentioned above, as well as a number of hardware and software modifications, enabled more power than 200 horsepower to be gained over a standard M5 competition. GPower notes that the car’s incredible top speed is actually electronically controlled to protect the tires. It also mentions that 217 mph is “probably a far way short of what Hurricane RS can do” without the limiter.

Rumours suggest BMW will give the M5 more power with a special edition of the CS with a twin-turbo V8 codenamed S68. This engine is said to produce more horsepower than the M5 Competition’s 617 hp. The M5CS will likely be based on the M5 Competition’s facelifted 5 Series/M5.
