300-MPH Hennessey Venom F5 Production Model Arriving In 2020

This year, high-speed testing will be a reality.

The Venom was unveiled by Hennessey at the Quail Monterey and at SEMA. Its mind-blowing 1,600 horsepower V8 engine shocked the world. John Hennessey, the hypercar’s creator, revealed that they aim to break the speed record by driving 311 miles an hour. Hennessey revealed more details about the Venom F5’s future, even though all this was just a promise without any concrete date.

Hennessey stated that electrification is not the future of the Venom F5 in an interview with Top Gear. The Texas-based tuner said that electrification is not the future for the Venom F5.

All of this is great, but it’s probably already set in stone. Hennessey continues the interview by revealing important dates for Venom F5.

In June, the Venom F5’s first prototypes will be made. The great plan is to unveil the car to customers at the Pebble Beach in August. The F5 will then begin testing at high speeds from September to the end of 2019, The production-spec Venom F5 will be unveiled in 2020.

These dates are not finalized and many other things could change the Venom F5 development course. There are now concrete dates, which is good news.
