It is the fake Black Series Mercedes-Benz that should be built.
The Mercedes-AMG GT is the most powerful, with 576 horsepower (429 Kilowatts) as well as 516 pound-feet (699 Newton-meters). This is undoubtedly one of the most dangerous sports cars on the planet. One shop believes the AMG GT should be even more powerful.
This is Edo Competition’s latest project. While it shares the same name and design as the factory-derived model but is far more modern, it is not stock. The biturbo V8 4.0-liter has been increased to 651 horsepower (485 kW) & 575 lb/ft (780 Nm). The aftermarket upgrade adds 75 horses and 59 lb-ft more torque to the factory version.
Edo Competition claims that the sports car can reach speeds well beyond the GT R’s standard GT R speed of 212 mph (340 km/h). However, Edo Competition doesn’t yet have official figures about the top speed or the 0-60 time.
It’s not just power that has been upgraded. The shop also lowered the chassis by 22 millimeters at the front and 20 millimeters at the rear to make the vehicle more road-worthy. This improves handling and brings the high-powered vehicle closer to the road.
The company released a press release saying that the edo GT R achieves maximum performance through immense expertise. The vehicle’s sleek, muscular looks make it a great fit for its infernal sound and hellish speed. It also handles well – all of which add up to street-worthy performance.
Edo does not disclose the cost of the kit, but we doubt that the performance upgrade will prove to be too costly if you already have the cash to buy the AMG-GT R.
